The Glee Project 2×07 ‘Theatricality’: Enough with the egos

Now that Mario left two weeks ago, the most arrogant quote of the night went to Ryan Murphy himself, when he says “At this point, the only people who should move forward are the people I feel honestly have a chance to win.”  Did I emphasize the “I” enough in that quote? I get that he’s the executive producer and all, but if I was one of the other mentors, it would have made me think, “Why am I even here?” I also understand that the competition repeats songs from the show to save legal costs at the expense of the show’s production quality, but I’d also expect Ryan Murphy to take more pride in his work and fit the bill to get some new songs on TGP. That being said, I appreciated the fact that this week’s episode only featured one Glee-peat.
